What virtual patients ask us first.
Can I see a psychiatrist online in Arizona?
Yes. Our board-certified psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners see patients anywhere in Arizona by HIPAA-secure video, including evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management with e-prescribing to your local pharmacy.
Is Virtual IOP as effective as in person?
Our Virtual IOP follows the same structure, curriculum, and clinical team as our in-person program in Mesa and Glendale — group and individual therapy, psychiatry, and skills work several days a week. Outcomes are tracked with PHQ-9 and GAD-7 for every patient.
Can controlled medications be prescribed by telehealth?
Many medications can be prescribed after a video evaluation. Some controlled medications have additional federal and state requirements; your provider will explain what applies to you and whether an in-person visit is needed.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, BCBS, Medicare, and TriWest / TRICARE. We verify your coverage when you call.
Do I need a referral to see a psychiatrist?
In most cases, no — you can book directly with our team. Some plans require a referral; we’re happy to check your specific plan.
Can you prescribe medication at the first visit?
Often yes, when clinically appropriate. Your evaluation focuses on your history and current symptoms; your provider then discusses options, which may include medication, therapy, or both.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. Your care is protected by HIPAA and Arizona privacy law. The only legal exceptions involve imminent safety concerns, which we would discuss with you directly.
What do I need for a video visit?
A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a private space. We send a secure link before your appointment — nothing to install.
