Kyuri Lee, PsyD, is a postdoctoral resident who works extensively with children, adolescents, and young adults facing challenges related to autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Kyuri values creating a supportive and nonjudgemental space where individuals feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. 

Inspiration

Kyuri has always been driven by a deep compassion for supporting people through life’s challenges. She was inspired to become a psychologist by her curiosity in human behavior and a drive to understand the complexities of the mind. This passion continues to guide her work as she helps individuals navigate their emotional journeys with empathy, insight, and care.  

Education

Kyuri holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Anaheim. She recently completed an APA-accredited internship at Southwest Behavioral & Health Services’ Outpatient Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, where she delivered client-centered care using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic approaches, motivational interviewing, and play therapy. 

Professional History

Before attending graduate school, Kyuri worked as an ABA therapist, supporting children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disorders. Over the past five years, she has gained experience across a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient clinics. In these roles, she has provided individual, couples, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, Kyuri has received extensive training in administering a wide range of psychological assessments, including personality, intelligence, and neuropsychological tests. 

Personal Interests

When she is not busy with work, Kyuri enjoys traveling, watching documentaries, doing Pilates, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
