Raul was inspired to work in mental health during his training in psychiatry, where he observed the transformative change that can occur in the lives of those suffering from severe mental health issues after starting treatment and decided he wanted to be part of that change.

Professional History

During Raul’s undergraduate years at ASU, he had the opportunity to volunteer as a Spanish interpreter at multiple clinics serving the low-income, underserved, and underinsured population of central Phoenix. Before joining the team at MHCA, Raul worked in inpatient neurology at various hospitals across the valley. Raul has garnered the respect of his patients and colleagues for the personability and compassion that he demonstrates towards every patient.

Raul is NCCPA certified and licensed to practice in the state of AZ.
