Dr. Cassandra Arbuckle-Washington, PsyD, is a postdoctoral resident who works primarily with adolescents and young adults from a dialectical behavioral therapy lens, with a focus on teaching skills for emotional regulation, emotion management, and developing healthier relationships as well as resilience. Inspiration

Dr. Arbuckle-Washington’s inspiration to become a psychologist grew from a lifelong curiosity about human behavior and wondering about the unique reasoning behind every action. This innate curiosity turned into a purposeful calling that inspired her to dedicate her life to understanding, honoring, and healing human behavior.

Education

Dr. Arbuckle-Washington holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Northern Arizona University. She recently completed an APA-accredited internship in rural New Mexico at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute Long Term Care, where she worked closely with nurses, speech therapists, dietary staff, social workers, activity staff, and psychiatrists to support the aging population, in addition to those experiencing memory loss and cognitive decline.
