Education
Dr. Espinoza holds a Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Michigan Medical School. He received his Residency Training in Psychiatry at The University of Texas Medical Center at Dallas.
After graduation, Dr. Espinoza began working in Dallas, Texas as Vice President of Clinical Operations in a Psychiatric Group Practice. Now, he serves as a supervising psychiatrist for MHCA.
Professional History
Over the last 28 years, he has garnered the respect of patients and fellow Psychiatrists by evaluating and treating patients for “Treatment Resistant Depression”.
Awards and Recognition
Dr. Espinoza has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doctor in 2010 & 2011. In addition to his training in Electroconvulsive Therapy during Residency Training, he received additional education in this field by participating in a Visiting Fellowship at the Duke University Medical Center. Attending at least 3 national/international psychiatric conferences each year, he writes quarterly scientific columns for the Arizona Psychiatric Society.
Personal Interests
When he is not busy practicing Psychiatry, Dr. Espinoza enjoys family time, bicycling, weight training, and auto detailing.
