Crystal Robeson

Crystal Robeson, LMSW is a Mental Health Therapist who works with people of all ages and backgrounds to assist them in reaching their mental health goals by providing a safe place to explore values, behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that are causing distress.

Crystal Robeson understands that it is not easy to take that first step to ask for help, and is passionate about providing non-judgmental, strength-based, trauma-informed therapy. Crystal knows that holistic care is important to treating the whole person, and embraces a collaborative care approach.

Inspiration

Crystal Robeson was motivated by belief that everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith is worthy of healing and connection.

Education

Crystal Robeson holds a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Direct Practice with Children, Youth, and Families from Arizona State University. During her coursework, she interned at a community mental health outpatient clinic and a shelter for immigrant children.

Professional History

Over the last 4 years, Crystal has garnered the respect of her clients, community and fellow therapists by providing trauma-informed, compassionate services to her clients.

After graduation, Crystal Robeson worked in Arizona as a therapist at an inpatient behavioral health hospital, providing individual and group therapy to those in crisis. She also worked for a domestic violence agency, providing therapeutic services to survivors, many of whom had PTSD, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain. Now, Crystal works in Phoenix where she assists clients looking to improve their quality of life by providing individual therapy services. Crystal helps clients understand their mental health diagnoses, utilize coping skills, increase awareness of the mind-body connection, process emotions and experiences in order to increase resiliency and well-being.

Prior to completing her MSW, Crystal worked in the non-profit/social services sector for 3 years. She has volunteer experience at Valleywise Hospital’s Burn Center and the American Red Cross, where she served on two national disaster responses- Hurricane Sandy and the Yarnell Hill fire.

Awards and Recognition

Crystal Robeson received a USAID Global Development Research Fellowship during her graduate program. She spent six months studying sex-trafficking trends in Colombia.

She is trained in Triple P, an evidenced-based positive parenting curriculum.

Crystal is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Personal Interests

When she is not busy working as a therapist, Crystal Robeson enjoys working on home improvement projects with her husband, gardening, ceramics and snuggling with her dog, Oso. She looks forward to the daily Wordle.
